We had a brilliant time at the Exeter Construction Group Winter Ball held at University of Exeter. The evening was filled with entertainment and the food was very tasty. Some of our Cardiff office recently attended an excellent industry gathering hosted by The Construction Club. The event, held at the impressive Machynys Peninsula Golf & Country Club, provided a valuable opportunity to connect with fellow professionals in our sector.   The morning featured an inspiring presentation from guest speaker Philippa Tuttiett, who shared insights from her remarkable dual career in professional sports and construction. Her message about the importance of embracing the journey resonated strongly with our team.   A big thank you to the organizers for facilitating such a great networking opportunity. Pancake Day swept through Craddys yesterday! 🥞 Our teams across Bristol, Exeter, Wakefield, Cardiff, and our newest Bath office came together to celebrate – proving that great engineering is fueled by great teamwork (and great pancakes!). From classic lemon and sugar to more adventurous toppings, each office showed off their pancake-making skills, some even outside enjoying the lovely sunshine. Thornbury Health Centre update - received planning approval! It's fantastic that this project will re-purpose the old hospital site into a modern Health Centre to serve the community's needs. Craddys have provided civil and structural engineering works, working alongside Roberts Limbrick Architects and SDS M&E Engineers to achieve a striking looking building which will also perform efficiently during operation. We are also delighted to strengthen our relationship with Morgan Sindall Construction on another successful South Gloucestershire Council project and look forward to works beginning on-site later in the year. Last week Craddys took part in the classic Coreus Group Game Show Night. All proceeds from the night went towards The Coreus Foundation and local charities in Bristol. Our team aced the various gameshow sections from Pointless to The Price is Right. Despite climbing up to 2nd, the final "Spin The Wheel" round was ruthless, leaving us just outside a medal position 🏅😲   Thank you once again to Coreus for setting up such an entertaining evening supporting good causes. On Thursday, Craddys had a fantastic time at the BPC (Bath Property Collective) event in Bath, called "Bath Bullseye." It was exciting to watch a few lucky participants showcase their dart-throwing skills alongside a professional player. Our very own Joe Kendall was nominated to participate, and he did not disappoint! Thank you to everyone who attended, we look forward to the next event! James Scrivens
