We're helping to deliver the UK's third Dutch-Style Roundabout! Featured by BBC News, we are project managing these Section 278 works at Westgate Roundabout in Chichester. The roundabout will open later this month. Andrea O'Shea, project manager for the works, told the BBC: "The roundabout gives priority to non-motorised users, it will have a dedicated lane for cyclists who will have priority over cars. The concept comes from the Netherlands and has been brought across to try and improve cycle facilities in the UK. The completed scheme should actually not have a significant impact on traffic." Our Winchester team has led the civil and structural design, including external works, drainage, and Section 278 works, in close collaboration with CBRE and Fairhursts Architects. The design blends steel framing in the main security hub - allowing for large openings, with masonry for the office space, striking the perfect balance between function and form. Great to see the completion of Compton Place Business Centre! This project involves a 21,490 sq ft industrial warehouse with sustainability built into the project. The new warehouse is steel framed with a glulam and timber mezzanine floor. The project which also features landscaped areas, a new access point, and sustainable drainage features, has achieved BREEAM Outstanding certification. Great work by the team involved!

Neha brings over 10 years of experience working on a wide range of projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Her expertise spans Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, masterplanning, and Environmental Statements.   Having worked in the UK, India, and the Middle East, Neha is also a Chartered Transport Planner. One of our completed projects had a 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩 visitor last week - 𝙀𝙙 𝙎𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙣 stopped by Fitzalan High School in Cardiff! 𝙀𝙙 performed in front of 2,000 pupils and staff in the school's main hall, and we have to say, it was an unforgettable 𝙈𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩. Fitzalan, which opened in 2023, is a 𝙋𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙝-worthy £64m school featuring modern classrooms, laboratories, a swimming pool, dining area, sports facilities, vocational training spaces, and, of course, the multi-functional hall where 𝙀𝙙 performed. We’re 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙊𝙪𝙩 𝙇𝙤𝙪𝙙 about how proud we are to have worked on Fitzalan alongside a full project team of our civils, structural, drainage, and transport engineers. The school achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating, showing the commitment to sustainability. When it comes to helping deliver schools like Fitzalan, we’re definitely an 𝘼 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙢!
