The Summer Room is perfectly positioned off the terrace surrounded by glazing bathing the space in natural light. This space is entirely secluded overlooking the London rooftops and its’ own little oasis of green. Antique stone pots and lush planting are paired with wrought iron furniture and cream linens for a relaxed feel. The stunning reception room with 5-metre-high domed ceilings was a perfect space for the addition of a baby grand piano. We wanted to create a sense of intimacy within the grandeur of this impressive room. Naturally, this isn’t the sort of item that would fit in a lift, so it took quite the engineering with our amazing team of installers to get it up onto the 8th floor without a scratch. So much of this work is down to the amazing planning and fantastic logistics teams. From concept to completion, the journey of designing and installing this penthouse in Millbank has been a labour of love. This beautiful, listed building has been transformed into a stunning penthouse apartment across two floors. A special mention to Furnishing Futures who we collaborated on for the Decorex International bar last year, and their beautiful mural by Olivier Roubieu spreading awareness of their great charity. #designthatinspires

While at Maison some of our team managed to attend the Dolce & Gabbana exhibition in Paris. An exciting opportunity to get the opportunity to see exquisite level of craftsmanship up close. A truly inspirational trip, from the manipulation of materials to the intricate embroidered tapestries. It was particularly interesting to see how far the fashion house pushed a concept and narrative as this is something we strive to do in the world of interiors and made us raring to take on the next project!  #maison&objet #bradywilliams
