Join us on Saturday 18 January 2025, for this family-friendly, walk through the heart of London across all the iconic bridges. Choose between two exciting routes: A 25km walk from Putney to Tower Bridge, or A 15km walk from Battersea to Tower Bridge. This challenge is open to all, so whether you're walking with friends, family, or colleagues, it’s a perfect event for all ages. For this challenge, we are also proud to be supporting the British Heart Foundation, as well as Cancer Research UK (CRUK). Last Thursday evening, I attended the OneTeam Awards evening for Brentwood Borough Council and Rochford District Council. Thank you to everyone who nominated me and congratulated me on my achievement. I started at Brentwood nearly two years ago and I have grown so much professionally in that time. The past six months have been extremely busy working to deliver two elections, learn a new role in democratic services, shadowing a CPC as well as supporting the new cohort of apprentices as part of the Early Careers Programme. None of my development would have been possible without the support from my colleagues and I am always thankful to work with such inspiring and knowledgeable people. I am grateful to have been awarded Employee of The Year 2024 and would like to extend a special thank you to the sponsors of the event as well as the events team for organising such a lovely evening.
