Tomorrow, Associate Tiv Kaur MAPM will be speaking as part of the #G4C2024 panel, Future Delivery. Joined by fellow industry experts, together, the panellists will unpack some of construction's most pertinent topics, from AI to digital construction and future technology. Ahead of the event, we spoke to Tiv about the significance not only of her own panel, but of the broader event. Here's what she had to say: "It's so important to be at the forefront of conversations regarding the future of our industry. "We must look to transform and adapt to new ways of working while also taking accountability for our decisions and influencing better working methods. As the leaders of tomorrow, our generation is well placed to do this and be the change that the built environment needs." You can catch Tiv speaking from 13:15 (BST) at tomorrow's event. Heading to the conference too? Drop Tiv or fellow delegates Libby Milne, Toby King or Rebecca Mellett a message if you'd like to meet up. #ProjectManagement #Event #Manchester

'Ripping up the rule book!' Today, Director Ruth Oates will be joining London Real Estate Forum 's live workshop, 'Reimagining Sustainability for Retrofit' to ask how we can move beyond generic approaches to sustainable design. Across this interactive session, experts spanning the office, housing, civic buildings, hospitality, retail, transport, education, science & tech, healthcare and industrial sectors will gather together to explore one central question: 'If we were to start again, knowing what we know now, what would we consider to be the key criteria for a truly sustainable retrofit project for different building types?' Equipped with her specific expertise working on retrofits such as the new London Museum and Royal Academy of Arts, Ruth will be sharing her insights during the Cultural Buildings component of the discussion. This session is hosted by NLA in partnership with Buro Happold. #Sustainability #SustainableDesign #LREF #ProjectManagement

"Having the right people makes all the difference. We had a highly experienced design team who knew the science market. We also had a contractor team that really understood the project's objectives. "But perhaps most importantly, we got on well as a project team. Together, these factors have resulted in the delivery of a high-quality - and now award-winning - building!" - Simon Tanner, Project Manager for Begbroke Science Park Within just a few months of completion, the University of Oxford, Begbroke Science Park has been announced as the winner of the Commercial Project of the Year Award at #OxPropFestAwards24. Congratulations to clients Legal & General and Oxford University Development and the wider project team! 🔸Buro Four Project Managers: Simon Tanner 🔸Contractor and photography: Mace 🔸Architect: NBBJ Design 🔸Structural Engineer: Ramboll 🔸MEP and Sustainability: Hoare Lea 🔸Landscape Architect: Fira Landscape Ltd 🔸Cost Consultant: Arcadis #Science #ProjectManagement #ProjectManagers #Oxford

Bringing the Balearics to the Big Smoke! We recently hosted our first Summer Sounds event, which saw friends of Buro Four descend upon Greenwich Peninsula's CANTEEN for an evening of music, drinks and a little bit of dancing! Putting his newfound mixing skills to work (thanks Buro Four lifestyle allowance!), resident DJ Keith Davies took to the decks to share some of his favourite house and disco classics. We couldn't have wished for a better turnout - or music selection - and hope to see even more of you at next year's instalment! #ProjectManagers #ProjectManagement #Event #London
