As the impact assessment of the welfare changes confirmed in yesterday’s Spring Statement indicate they will pull yet another 50,000 children into poverty, it is more critical than ever that the National Child Poverty Strategy includes meaningful measures to shift the dial on poverty and put more money into the pockets of struggling families.
