At Clancy we believe in making a difference outside our day-to-day jobs and we are always looking for different ways to help or assist local businesses or charities. Last week one of our teams in Scotland had the pleasure of assisting at Five Sisters Zoo with maintenance & groundwork they needed help with in their animal enclosures - well done to everyone involved!

Today we had the pleasure of assisting at Five Sisters Zoo with maintenance & groundwork they needed help with in thier animal enclosures. Was great to be out and about helping in the local community (and of course enjoy some sunshine and time with the animals) #wecare #clancyvalues #socialvalues #community #teamwork #clancy

At Clancy, we’re always up for a challenge, and our recent work at Rushden Lakes was no exception. Tasked with repairing a burst 750mm rising sewer main in a busy retail park—near to the enclosure for a planned beaver release—we knew timing was critical.   Beavers haven’t been seen in Northamptonshire for around 400 years, and their return, as part of Anglian Water Services Get River Positive initiative, was already scheduled. Our team worked tirelessly, including night shifts, in tight conditions to ensure the repairs were completed in time. With support from our alliance partners, PPS and Clarets, and close collaboration with the Wildlife Trust, we reinstated the area to meet the beavers' habitat requirements.   This project is a fantastic example of teamwork, collaboration, and the positive impact that infrastructure work can have on the environment. A huge well done to everyone involved!   #TeamClancy #GetRiverPositive #Collaboration #Sustainability #BeaverReintroduction #WaterIndustry

Exciting news! Clancy has been awarded a £250 million contract with Southern Water, reinforcing our commitment to delivering essential water services across the South East. Over the AMP8 period (2025–2030), we’ll be at the forefront of critical work—responding to emergencies, reducing leakage, strengthening the network, and supporting new housing developments. But more than that, we’re focused on driving real performance improvements, ensuring resilience, sustainability, and value for money for customers. Why this matters: With growing pressures on water infrastructure, investment must be smart, sustainable, and future proof. At Clancy, we combine decades of expertise with innovative solutions to maximise efficiency, minimise disruption, and make every drop count. Our Executive Director, Ronan Clancy, puts it best: “Our culture of reimagining delivery through new approaches, tools and techniques makes us well placed to support Southern Water in shoring up and expanding its network.” We’re proud to continue this partnership and play our part in shaping a resilient water future. #WaterInfrastructure #Sustainability #Innovation #TheClancyGroup #SouthernWater #AMP8 #Clancy

We’re proud to have played a key role in delivering a major milestone for Anglian Water Services AMP7 smart meter programme. As part of the Integrated Metering Alliance (with Anglian Water & Kier), we have jointly delivered Anglian Water’s AMP7 regulatory volume of 1.1 million smart meter installations, helping to drive efficiency, sustainability, and improved customer experience across the Anglian Water region.   Smart meters are a game-changer for water management, with data showing they can lead to up to a 2% reduction in water usage—a small percentage that quickly adds up to significant savings across the network. By empowering customers to monitor their consumption, these meters are helping to create a more resilient and sustainable water future.   This achievement is a testament to the dedication and expertise of our teams, working tirelessly to meet and exceed targets. A huge well done to everyone involved in making this happen. Here’s to continued collaboration and success in shaping the future of water management.   #TheClancyGroup #SmartMetering #AMP7 #Sustainability #WaterIndustry #Collaboration #AnglianWater #Kier #Clancy
