  • Calling all Sky customers, don’t miss out on the chance to cancel your Sky contract with zero termination fees. Sky is increasing the prices of most TV and broadband packages from 1st April 2025 by an average of 6.2%. And it comes with a right to cancel your contract with zero charges if you do it within 30 days of being notified by Sky of the increase. However Sky’s email about this change, entitled “Information about your subscription,” doesn’t exactly bring your attention to it and even says in bold“ No action is needed from you …” as they don’t want you to take action. But if you don’t, you will lose the right to leave penalty free as you only have 30 days from receiving that email. At Community Fibre, we keep things simple. Our broadband is faster and our prices are lower. What’s more we can notify Sky that you are leaving and arrange to have their service switched off, only when ours is up running so there is no downtime during the switch.
