  • The first resident has moved into the second phase of apartments at Indigo, located in Peterborough City Centre. Mary Webster was the first resident to move into the second wing of Indigo, known as Cornflower House, following the completion of the second phase of apartments earlier this month. Mary said: “I'm so pleased with my new flat. I used to live over in Walton and the rent was just becoming too much for me, as I rely on my pension. I struck gold with Indigo as I'm now saving every month on my rent and I'm central to everything I need. My family have all been to see the flat and they're blown away by the quality.” “It's actually a double win for me as I was handed the keys in time to get everything in for me to have my birthday in my brand new home. I have lots of double celebration cards for the occasion!” Read the full story on our website: https://lnkd.in/eDdkWghe Indigo apartments are being marketed at sub-market rent levels - set at 80% of private rent levels and are suitable for anyone who has a connection to Peterborough with a joint income of no more than £80,000 a year. For further information, contact LSH Residential by visiting the Indigo marketing suite on Cattle Market Road from 10am - 4pm, Monday - Friday, by phone on 07543 313035 or by email at indigo@lsh.co.uk. Viewings can also be arranged outside office hours including evenings and weekends, by prior appointment.

We’ve taken handover of the final homes on phase one of our Maltings Lane development in Donington, from our partners Seagate Homes Group. On the site we have 19 homes for shared ownership, including bungalows, and 21 homes for social rent. There are solar panels on each home as well as EV chargers to 29 homes. Plus all homes have their own gardens. This is a lovely village development, and there is still chance to buy one of the shared ownership homes – but be quick, they’re selling fast! https://lnkd.in/gS9cnkk9

We have reached the next milestone in our flagship development by completing the second phase of new apartments at Indigo. The £70 million development scheme, which has received £12.5 million grant funding from Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority, will provide 315 much needed high-quality homes in total offering a range of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and duplexes across two connected wings. Today, the keys have officially been handed over from our development contractor, Willmott Dixon, for the second phase of properties with residents set to start moving into these new homes as they are rented out in the coming weeks. CKH Chief Executive, Claire Higgins, said: “I am delighted that in a short space of time since we received handover of our first 131 new apartments at Indigo, we have now reached the stage where we have completed the second phase of apartments. Given the great demand to date for Indigo, we don’t expect it to take long before these homes are rented out too. “Indigo is a great addition to Peterborough that is helping to transform the way people live, work and socialise in today’s modern society by providing centre living, which is also helping to contribute to the local city centre economy.” Chris Warren, Senior Operations Manager at Willmott Dixon, added: “We’re pleased to be handing over the second phase of this flagship project in Northminster. The popularity of the first phase reinforces the importance of providing high-quality, affordable housing in the area. We’re now working towards handover for the remaining town houses and commercial space.” Dr Nik Johnson, Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, added: "The completion of the second phase of the Indigo apartments is a fantastic milestone in delivering high-quality, affordable homes for the people of Peterborough. Developments like this are vital for meeting the needs of our growing communities while supporting the vibrancy and regeneration of our city centres.” Indigo apartments are being marketed at sub-market rent levels - set at 80% of private rent levels and are suitable for anyone who has a connection to Peterborough with a joint income of no more than £80,000 a year. For further information, contact LSH Residential by visiting the Indigo marketing suite on Cattle Market Road from 10am - 4pm, Monday - Friday, by phone on 07543 313035 or by email at indigo@lsh.co.uk. • We have now completed 9,000 of our annual tenancy visits! We take our responsibility to provide residents with a good quality, safe home very seriously and these annual visits are essential in enabling us to check the condition of a resident’s home and make sure we hold all the right information about our residents. It also provides an opportunity for residents to talk to their Neighbourhood Manager about any additional needs or vulnerabilities they, or any member of their household, may have and to find out more about the services and support we can provide to them. This is a fantastic achievement which puts us in good stead to complete all 10,000 visits by the end of the financial year and is very much thanks to the hard work of all the fantastic colleagues at CKH who have been involved in this project! #SafetyFirst #MakingAPostiiveDifference #WeCare #UKhousing
