It was a pleasure hosting YEP Bristol and Women in Property South West at our Stafford Yard site in Bristol. It was an insightful morning for the attendees with engaging discussions, meaningful connections, and shared knowledge.
Yesterday we teamed up with Women in Property South West and held our first event of the year – a tour of the Stafford Yard Development. A big thank you to Zoe Sharpe and Ewan Robertson at Dandara Living for outlining the evolution of the project, explaining the challenges they faced, and for showing us around. Some key take aways: 🏗️ Stafford Yard is a critical part of Dandara’s pipeline and forms part of the wider Bedminster Green regeneration project. 🚍 Stafford Yard has assisted in the delivery of the city’s sustainable transport network by amending proposals to allow for the public transport infrastructure. 🤔 The development has tackled numerous challenges in the planning system including, but not limited to, planning policies and design preferences. 🗣️ Effective communication and engagement with the local community reduced the number of objections and harnessed support for the proposals which helped to achieve a development that will integrate into the local community 🏡 Their approach has resulted in a product they are proud of. #construction #bristol #bedminstergreen #regeneration #buildtorent YEP
