Hosting a T Level student on industry placement can help to transform your business - just ask Francis Wilkinson, Quality and Regulatory Manager at manufacturing organisation, Quantamatic Precision Engineers. Having struggled to find the right technical talent, Francis offered #Engineering and #Manufacturing T Level student, Amber, a 45 day industry placement after being approached by a local college. "Hosting T Level students on industry placement aligns with the NHS ambition to employ young people and to support and develop their careers. "T Levels give students a genuine experience of what it is like to work in the health and care sector, helping to shape their future career." Great to hear from Matt Holmes, T Level Industry Placement Coordinator at NHS Sussex, where all NHS Trusts across Sussex are now hosting T Levels in their organisation and 80 students started their #Health T Level in September 2024. The Trust offers a diverse range of clinical placements, from the Physiotherapy department, the School Nursing and Midwifery, to the Mental Health team. T Levels have proved so successful that the Trust is now looking to host non-clinical placements in #Business & Admin, #Engineering, and #Digital.
