Who can remember this area of land off the M1 before it became Markham Vale - before there was even a junction 29a? 🤔 It's hard to believe it's 20 years since we began developing the former Markham Colliery site with property developer HBD, part of Henry Boot. Over the past two decades, it's been transformed from a derelict area into a prime business location housing 70 businesses of all sizes supporting more than 2,700 jobs. 🏢 And there are plans for further expansion and green initiatives. There's also a sense of community and remembrance fostered through the ‘Walking Together’ memorial - a lasting tribute to men who lost their lives in mining disasters at the site in 1937, 1938 and 1973. ❤️ Want to know more?
