We are proud to see INCH ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN recognised with the Social Value Architect of the Year Award 2024 for its #Inverclyde community projects, including a project we helped design: the Craigend Resource Centre. Building Design UK selected INCH as the winner of the Architect of the Year 2024 #SocialValue, which recognises their approach to working with community organisations, exemplified by creating three community projects in Inverclyde that enhance the quality of peoples’ lives through improving their physical and mental health. SECOND PHASE OF ENABLING WORKS AT RAVENSCRAIG Following the granting of detailed planning approval last month, Fusion Assets have appointed a professional team to take forward the next phase of enabling works on Plot One at Ravenscraig. The works package will consist of a new access road and utilities, to create a fully serviced and development ready site when complete. IRONSIDE FARRAR LIMITED and DSSR will be responsible for the design of the infrastructure works with Thomson Gray acting as cost consultant and Project Manager.

This new two-storey facility at the Oldham Community Diagnostic Centre will soon feature three state-of-the-art endoscopy rooms, equipped with advanced diagnostic technology, as well as four consulting rooms, a waiting area, recovery zones, and supporting ancillary spaces. Designed to offer patients faster access to critical diagnostic tests and scans in a convenient location, this unit aims to enhance health outcomes across the region. The latest in the series of our leadership courses recently took place at Brathay in Cumbria. Over the last year, we have been working with the Brathay Trust charity to host a series of executive leadership training courses at their Lake District centre. By the end of this series of events, all DSSR colleagues, from Business Support to Regional Director, will have gone through the leadership training course. Each two-day training course is primarily designed to increase awareness of the importance of communication in a leadership role, utilising a mix of classroom and experiential learning, with lots of exciting and challenging activities. We aim to provide all staff with the relevant opportunities to fulfil their true potential by exposing them to wider learning experiences and providing opportunities to explore interests that can lead to new ideas and new ways of working. https://lnkd.in/eAQUaAid

We are incredibly grateful to have been part of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital SIP project, and we deeply appreciate the positive feedback we've received from everyone involved. The successful installation of critical infrastructure, from electrical resilience to enhanced medical gas and ventilation systems, has been a true team effort. Exciting progress continues at Wrightington Hospital (Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust)! Theatre 11 is now nearing completion, along with the adjacent recovery area. The new modular extension, which includes a state-of-the-art UCV theatre and an 5-bed first-stage recovery facility, is on track. Theatre 12 is also well underway, further expanding the trust’s surgical capacity.
