    What. A. Day! 🎉 #RGERLive at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly blew us away! We kicked things off in style with our incredible host, Hannah Power (who totally lived up to her name! 💪), we welcomed over 400 HR leaders for a day packed with game-changing insights and powerful conversations about building the Total Employee Experience Pyramid. Our morning started with an absolutely electric panel discussion where Charlotte Neal, Hannah Power and Natalie Jutla Chartered FCIPD had everyone hanging on their every word, sharing raw, honest stories about supporting diverse workforce needs. Nat dropped this gem: "The psychological contract between employer and employee is the game changer. When an employee feels safe, they will thrive." 🙌 After a quick networking break (and some amazing refreshments! 😋), Chris Britton and Christina Kelly took the stage to unveil some massive insights about holistic wellbeing strategies. Did you know 63% of UK HR managers are now putting mental health and wellness at the top of their priority list? 🤯 The afternoon brought us an incredible fireside chat with Emma Fayd'herbe de Maudave, Devi Patel, and Alicia Ledger talking all things recognition and self-esteem. And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, we were treated to a stunning poetry performance by Theresa Lola that had the whole room feeling ALL the feels. Her heartfelt words about how appreciation feels through sight, sound, touch, and beyond were a highlight of the day. The cherry on top? Our Chief Appreciation Officer Nebel Crowhurst gave us a sneak peek at the upcoming Appreciation Index report —and trust us, you don’t want to miss it! 👀 A massive thank you to everyone who joined us, both in-person and online—you made this event truly unforgettable! 🙌 And a huge shoutout to the incredible Reward Gateway | Edenred UK team for making it all possible.     At Reward Gateway / Edenred UK we have a fantastic leadership program Elev8. All of our people managers take part in this and are supported and guided in their journey with some of the key fundamentals of managing teams. It's something we are really proud of. Earlier this year in one of our team collaboration sessions I thought it's amazing we are supporting our existing leaders in the business.. but what are we doing for all of our aspiring people managers? Those who feel the next step in their career journey is leading a team but maybe need some guidance and transparency on the role of a People Manager and the key skills our TA team are looking for when they interview. So..Myself and Dominic Bond put our heads together and created Elev8 Insight . An interactive and collaborative workshop that gets under the skin of people management and in many ways gives the participants an opportunity to almost "try before you buy". Today we ran our first session and it was a huge success. 🚀 We explored the traits and characteristics of great managers (and the not so great managers). We interviewed a panel of some fantastic people managers in the business Joanna Hunt Hazel Foster Tom Conran-May Byron Parsons who's openness and honesty about not only the highs but the real challenges of people management was really refreshing.💛 We played out some real life scenarios that people managers face on a day to day basis and Donna Standing our Senior TA Manager for the UK shared some top tips on how to get yourself interview ready ⭐ Thank you to everyone who took part today , Elev8 insight is a voluntary program so your energy, your curiosity and your openness to be part of this is everything 💙

    Such a pleasure to attend the annual The Institute of Promotional Marketing (IPM) Awards at the amazing NOBU Hotel in London on Friday afternoon. Having spent time judging many amazing entries back in June, it was a real pleasure to witness the excitement, joy and pride as those winning agencies and their clients received the recognition of their incredible, creative work! With Reward Gateway | Edenred UK sponsoring the Best Loyalty Campaign, I was fortunate to also meet Tom Allen briefly, whilst presenting the Gold Award to TLC Worldwide. Thanks again Emma Kirk and Jody Bratley for the opportunity to volunteer as a judge again this year, and congratulations on another brilliant Awards event!

    🌟 Edenraid 2024! 🌟 This year, Reward Gateway and Edenred come together for our first-ever joint Edenraid – our annual global fitness challenge supporting Doctors Without Borders. From September 11 to November 6, we aim to walk, run, or cycle a collective 2,400,000 km to raise €50,000. 💪🚶♀️🚴♂️🏃♂️ We'll create teams, complete missions, engage with teammates, and answer quizzes to earn extra points! Whether it’s a daily dog walk, a trip to the supermarket, or the school run, every action makes a difference.     Yesterday a team of 11 RGER Reward Gateway Edenred UK volunteers spent the day volunteering at The Felix Project depot in Poplar. Th Felix Project is a charity that rescues good, surplus food from the food industry that cannot be sold and would otherwise go to waste and deliver it to hundreds of food banks, charities, primary schools and holiday programmes in London. Our group was split across 2 activities the warehouse and the kitchen. The Warehouse The group in the warehouse helped picking deliveries of surplus rescued food for organisations to support with community meals from community shops to primary schools to local centres. Terminology from dollies, to crates, to wrapping were new terms learnt by all of the team. From soap to coffee to bread to mixed vegetables and bacon, they picked and packed the delivery on pallets and dollies ready to be picked up for delivery, including the largest bag of carrots ever seen! 🥕 As a team, their proudest moment was when they realised they had completed all the picking slips ahead of time and all the orders for the day were done. Thanks for all of your hard work Emily Christer; Robin Miklinski; Teresa Lau; Christina Kelly; Isaac Alves The Kitchen In the Felix kitchen the group (who rocked their compulsory hair nets 🤣) supported with assembling and packing nutritious ready-made meals using surplus food rescued by Felix. These meals are then delivered to community organisations in London - including charities and schools - to support people in need of food relief. The group were involved in many tasks to assemble food meals, and the best Felix playlist ever meant that the group danced, sang, and laughed their way through the production line, managing to assemble over 1,300 meals! I don’t think anyone had pasta for dinner yesterday though after seeing so much during the shift.     In a little over a week, I’ll be Racing the Sun in Keswick, to raise money for Action Medical Research. As a team of four, with Nikolai Laković, Chris Hall and Dave Hall, we’ll cover 35 miles of the Lake Districts finest hills, kayak 2 miles around Derwentwater before hiking 3,000+ feet to the summit of Skiddaw. Action Medical Research have spent over 70 years funding vital research to help defeat the diseases that devastate the lives of sick and disabled babies, children, and young people. By supporting our team, you’ll be helping Action Medical Research find ways to reduce premature birth, to support children facing a lifetime of challenges caused by disabilities, and to develop cutting-edge therapies for rare and incurable diseases.
