Members of our Welsh team went back to school last week as part of our educational outreach programme. Amy Ravitz-Williams and Osian Roberts were at Cefn Hengoed School in Swansea to talk to 150 Year 9 students about the world of renewables. Over the course of the day students took part in an activity to site a wind turbine, and also learnt about the many careers available in this sector. Thanks to the staff for their support and the students for their input. Thanks to the hosts of Solar Finance & Investment Europe Summit Solar and Storage Finance Series for a fantastic couple of days.   Our Principal Business Development Manager Remy Gillet took part in a panel discussion on Day 1 about the impact of the UK Government's national renewal plans on the attractiveness of the solar and storage market.   Here are some of the key takeaways from the discussion:   🔶 The Clean Power 2030 Action Plan is a fundamental step to set the trajectory and the pace for renewable deployment. 🔶 Connections Reform is greatly needed. Although there is uncertainty in the short-term, it will bring clarity and significantly reduce risk for developers over the next ten years. 🔶 Investor confidence has increased following the UK’s sixth Contracts for Difference (CfD)... 🔶 ...
