To further support our 2024 chosen charity partner in the UK, Macmillan Cancer Support , our Aberdeen team held a bake sale adding an impressive £579 to the amount raised to date. This event is just one of the many ways the team have come together to raise funds. A huge thank you to our Aberdeen team for their generosity and continued efforts to make a difference for those whose lives are affected by cancer. Last month, we welcomed the Scottish Minister for Equalities, Kaukab Stewart to our Aberdeen office to discuss our commitment to the Talent Beyond Boundaries program. This initiative connects refugees with companies in need of their skills, a cause that we’re proud to support. In 2023, we welcomed Malek Alwadi and Michel Nassar as project engineers. Since then, both have excelled in their roles and embraced their new lives in Aberdeen. Reflecting on his journey, Malek said, “Throughout this journey, I have faced numerous challenges, but I have been determined to provide a better life for my family. The Talent Beyond Boundaries initiative gave me new hope. This led to me joining EnerMech as a project engineer in Aberdeen, in a role I’m qualified for and with good prospects. My daughters also have access to a good education here and a stable environment. We are excited to announce that Chet Bhat has joined #TeamEnerMech as the Global Chief Information Officer (CIO). Chetan will focus on driving our Business Systems and Digital strategy. With over 20 years of IT leadership experience, Chet has previously served as a Chief Information and Technology Officer (CIO) for organizations in the energy, technology, and manufacturing sectors. His recent achievements include creating and implementing a multi-year comprehensive IT strategy roadmap for oil and gas operator Maverick Natural Resources, aimed at improving their governance process for technology investments. We’re proud to announce that EnerMech has been selected as the integrated service contract supplier for Kent. on ExxonMobil’s new low sulphur diesel facility at the Fawley Petrochemical Complex in Hampshire, UK. This groundbreaking project not only aims to reduce Britain’s reliance on diesel imports but also sets the stage for potential sustainable aviation fuel production, increasing output by 38,000 b/d. #TeamEnerMech will deliver construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up services, leveraging our advanced SIMPro software for a fully traceable integrity management system.
