We’re excited to have launched a major retrofit project in Barnes, South-West London, to enhance the energy efficiency of 191 homes. This will involve adding wall and loft insulation, solar panels, double glazed windows, draft proofing and more. Yesterday we welcomed key partners in the project Mulalley, Faithorn Farrell Timms and Salix along with local Richmond Councillors, to have a look around the site. The project is backed by £2.62 million from Wave 2.2 of the government’s Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF), with RHP investing £19 million in this project. Our Chief Executive Sarah Thomas said: “As a socially responsible housing provider, we are committed to making our homes more sustainable. This project is part of a wider programme aimed at improving energy efficiency, reducing fuel costs for residents, and protecting the planet.
