Morgan Sindall Construction's Northern Home Counties hosted their annual Supply Chain conference and awards at Hatfield House and what a roaring success it was! There was so much to celebrate; aside from the award winners themselves, project awards were aplenty along with a varied and healthy pipeline of up-coming projects. The room had a great atmosphere and it was wonderful to feel the support from all of our supply chain partners. This week we have some highlights to share from our recent toolbox talks held at a world famous five-star hotel, focusing on BG details and full compliance with builder works in connection with the project. Site Manager Cameron Mitchell led the session, where the team discussed the importance of delivering high-quality work and ensuring full compliance with the latest fire safety requirements. Jim Flynn FCIOB also attended and took the opportunity to thank all operatives for their hard work in delivering an outstanding installation. The team’s commitment to quality, particularly with the attention to detail on this project, truly shines through in the results. We are delighted that FIL has been trusted to build the first mock-up for our repeat client Laing O'Rourke for Ellison Institute of Technology Oxford in Oxford. This exciting project involves creating an off-site mock ups in Laing O'Rourkes facility in Oxford, which will set the benchmark for detailing, interfaces and quality. Update on West Hall! We're thrilled to share that we will be wrapping up work on the West Hall, part of the Olympia Redevelopment in Kensington this week on behalf of Laing O'Rourke. After eight weeks of hard work and dedication, our amazing team has been at it day and night, using scaffolding, towers, and MEWPs to tackle high-level services, and complete temporary works. During this time, we've successfully installed an impressive 1,500m² of double-layered fermacell® partitions and linings, along with acoustic and fire encasements around the primary steelwork. We're happy to report that the buffer walls have already shown fantastic results in our initial acoustic tests. Our acoustician couldn’t be more pleased, calling the installation ‘the best he has ever seen’! A huge shoutout to Marijus Cibulskis and Shkelqim Kukaj for their outstanding supervision of safety and quality throughout this project with Rob Laffan overseeing as Project Manager and our Quantity Surveyor Lauren Flack handling the commercials 🙌 #WestHall #ConstructionUpdate #TeamWork #AcousticExcellence #Flynninteriors

As we approach the end of the year, we would like to express our thanks to our clients, partners, and team members. 2024 has been a year of exciting projects, hard work, and milestones for Flynn Interiors, and we couldn't have done it without the support of our team.
