About us
Managing alumni events is challenging. The heavy workload of pre and post-event management means it’s easy to get bogged down in data input; taking your focus away from creating memorable experiences your alumni look forward to. Then there’s the departmental need to improve your alumni relations and communications. It’s crucial to tailor your comms and event calendar to meet alumni interests, but gathering and analysing the right engagement data to do this effectively can be tricky without the right tools. And let’s not overlook the pressures of fundraising: linking event and fundraising campaigns; managing donations securely; and keeping track of your alumni’s support are all vital for successful donation drives. It’s a hefty load to carry, and significantly impacts your institution’s future growth. Tackling these challenges needs a clear, complete approach. Having tools that work for you is key to growing a vibrant alumni community and making sure your team feels supported, not swamped. Are you ready to transform your alumni relations and fundraising efforts?

University of Glasgow are hosting their online Global Burns night on Forumm 🏴 It's safe to say the team are pretty excited, especially our co-founders: Hilary = was a researcher and lecturer at UofG Daniel = worked at UofG David = is an alum of UofG
Super excited to be hosting University of Glasgow's online Global Burns night this evening on Forumm. Since leaving the uni in 2018 I've always had a soft spot for UofG, it's so nice to be able to provide our own home grown Glasgow technology to support this event! Massive thanks to Amy-Beth Jordan, Katie Mackenzie and Eli McKeown for including us in this special event. Looking forward to hearing from Dr Pauline Mackay, Prof Nigel Leask, Dr Clark McGinn and Dr Ronnie Young. If you want to attend link in the comments. #TeamUofG, University of Glasgow Alumni

As the year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported Forumm this year. Whether you joined one of our webinars, stopped by at a conference, or simply connected with us online, your encouragement has meant the world to us. This time of year is perfect for reflection, and we’re truly grateful for the kindness and generosity we’ve experienced over the past 12 months. Your support has helped shape Forumm and inspired us to keep building and improving. As we sneak-a-peek towards 2025, we’re excited to continuing supporting the higher ed sector (and the important work you do). But first... we hope this season brings you rest, joy, inspiration. We’re delighted to welcome Marisol Goñi to the Forumm team! She's started with a bang - conducting detailed tests, identifying ways to improve our platform, and optimising the user experience (for both alumni departments and their alumni). So what are Marisol's thoughts on joining Forumm? “I’m excited to be part of a company that connects alumni to their universities in a meaningful way. To help build the tech that does this is just where I want to be. And... the team is great!” When she’s not improving user experiences, Marisol loves reading and exploring new ideas (she says her Gemini curiosity sometimes makes her a bit of a chatterbox), and most importantly, playing board games with her daughters! Welcome to the team, Marisol!
