Ensuring that we are thinking about people & planet in everything we do. As a team, we have over 15 years of experience in the event industry and have witnessed the way that the industry can be hugely wasteful and unsustainable. We have seen it all, so we have a good grasp on what needs to change to align with a long-lasting solution. We are here to guide you through your sustainability journey, regardless of where you’re starting from. We can help you achieve your goals with: 1. Bespoke and tailored workshops to explore sustainability goals and opportunities. 2. Consulting: From one-off audits to ongoing retainers, supporting organisations in identifying and implementing changes. 3. Training: This is a collective effort, so we’ll help your team understand the why, how, and what exactly they can do. The everyday choices we make have an impact on our planet. We only have one Earth and are utterly dependent on it for our survival and well-being. Our industry has a unique opportunity to contribute towards all aspects of sustainable development. Alongside cutting CO2 emissions and reducing waste from your live experiences, we will also implement DEIA seamlessly into your strategy. We will measure, implement action and educate. Every project we work on leaves a positive, lasting impact. We’ve made changes - we’re always making more - we’ll help you to do the same.

Design 🤝 Sustainability I recently had the opportunity to consult on a major event for a leading tech company, where the goal was to go all out—while also striving for full circularity ♻️. When the design team initially presented a fully acrylic print design, I have to admit, my heart sank. Acrylic isn't exactly the poster child for sustainability. But thanks to some quick thinking and collaboration with the amazing Rose Griffiths, we found a solution—eco-acrylic! 🎉 Not only did we secure stunning, vibrant colours, but these were made from recycled materials and were recycled again post-event. Full circle, full impact. ♻️ Sustainability and style can go hand in hand. A sustainable event doesn't mean compromising on beauty or impact! 🌱

I help companies implement their sustainability strategies into their events | CN30UnderThirty 2024| Team player | CSR | Holistic Sustainability | Sustainable Events | Sustainable Operations

To truly organise a sustainable event, you must start from within your own company and agency. While having a sustainability consultant is crucial for planning and overseeing the logistics, it's also important to ensure that your entire team is aligned with your sustainability goals. To create a genuinely sustainable event, internal training is essential. Every team member should understand the importance and impact of sustainability in every aspect of event planning. Here’s how you can engage your team: 🔍 Educate & Empower: Provide training sessions that highlight the significance of sustainability and the role each person plays. 🤝 Collaborate: Encourage open dialogue and brainstorming sessions to integrate sustainable practices across all departments. 🎯 Set Clear Goals: Define and communicate your sustainability objectives, ensuring everyone understands the targets and their role in achieving them. By making sustainability a shared responsibility, your team will be better equipped to deliver events that make a positive impact. #Sustainability #EventManagement #TeamTraining #InternalSustainability #SustainableOperations #CSR #ESG

This month, emc3 | Certified B Corp is releasing its first B Corp Impact Report. It was a privilege to guide them through this certification process. Last week, I presented at the CN Sustainability Summit on what it takes to become a B Corp and the benefits of certification. If you missed the session, here’s a summary of the process and the rewards: - The certification dashboard is divided into five key sections: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers. - To achieve certification, a minimum of 80 out of 200 points is required. emc3 earned an impressive 92.8 points. - Comprehensive documentation is necessary to support your practices. - The Workers section is the most extensive, focusing on the policies and practices in place for your team. - Certification excludes certain industries. - You'll be surprised how much you'll already have implemented. A snapshot of the benefits of being a B Corp include: - Access to a supportive network of like-minded businesses. - Opportunities to attend exclusive B Corp events. - Enhanced talent attraction and retention. If you need support in achieving your B Corp certification, please reach out! #ReinventingBusiness #BCorp #BCorpUK
