About us

We're emc3, a Certified B Corporation dedicated to making every moment count at your events. We work with you to create experiences that inspire conversations, create memories, and transform how you connect with your customers. Powered by strategy, content, and creativity, our approach is underpinned by our commitment to a sustainable future for events. It uses a bespoke project planning framework to ensure that every detail is carefully aligned and crafted to deliver maximum impact—on your attendees and your bottom line. It's this approach that has earned us the pleasure of working with clients such as Google, LinkedIn, Rapid7, HP, and Gong. Receiving feedback such as: “How likely would I be to recommend emc3 as a partner? I wouldn't because I don't want my competition to know about them! In all seriousness, I would sing from the rafters about them. They are a phenomenal team, truly partners, truly friends, and they make me look good. The number one reason that I love working with emc3 is that they fully understand their customers." — Sr. Director of Experiential Marketing, Rapid7. And: "What really stood out is that I always could rely on and count 100% on them. They never came with problems, they always came with solutions. I could rely on them to turn things around when we needed it. I can only highly recommend them and loved working with them, loved the end result, and loved that they were just a great and reliable partner." — Product Marketing Manager, Google. Everyone has a story… at emc3, we work together to tell yours. Get in touch at www.emc3.com to find out how.

emc3 | Certified B Corporation leading by example. 👏 At from now, we pride ourselves on creating sustainable events, and the emc3 | Certified B Corporation 25th birthday celebration was no exception! 🥂 🎉 Every summer, emc3's global team gathers to connect, brainstorm, and, most importantly, have fun. This year’s event was extra special, marking 25 years of emc3's incredible journey. Our mission was clear: ensure the only things left behind were unforgettable memories. Here’s how we achieved a sustainable and memorable event: Circular Decor: Our vibrant backdrops and signage were crafted from recycled reboard and recycled post-event. ♻ Carbon-Balanced Travel: We offset all travel emissions through tree planting with JUST ONE Tree. 🌳 Zero Waste Menus: Thoughtfully curated to minimize waste. 🥖 On-Site Tree Planting: A hands-on way for the team to bond and contribute to reforestation. 🌱 Wellness Activities: Including yoga sessions to promote relaxation and well-being 🧘♀️. Happy 25 years, emc3! 🎊

  • We’ve just wrapped up our annual offsite #CONN3CT, where the global team headed over to our London HQ. It was also a very special year to be hosting Conn3ct, as emc3 is 25 years old! We heard some amazing stories from Alistair Graham and Daniel Curtis about the early days, and the team were inspired by the fantastic keynote from Mike Ford from GratefulLemon on How to Build a Foundation for Personal and Collective Wellbeing and Performance. We had our very own Dragon’s Den activity, which got all the creative juices flowing, followed by workshops from Dax Callner, Josh King, and Henry Sage from White Light, covering topics such as Measurement and Impact, How to Sell Effectively, and Creative Production Design. We had a blast with Pasta Evangelists learning how to make gnocchi from scratch, along with team dinners and theatre trips, before heading over to the stunning Elmley Nature Reserve. We were super lucky with the weather and managed to have a game of rounders and even plant some trees before getting ready for our 90’s themed celebration party 😎 After a morning yoga session and breakfast, we all made our way back to London, where we said farewell to our friends from across the pond and made our journeys home. Everyone left feeling refreshed, inspired, and ready to take on the world! Most importantly, for a remote-first company, we left with an even stronger bond with our work colleagues. It’s an exciting time for us at emc3 and we’re hiring for several new positions to accommodate growing demand for our services off the back of some spectacular events for Microsoft, HP, Google and Gong. If you’re interested in joining us on this epic journey, you can learn more about our open positions by following the link in the comments section below 👇 #EventProfs #CompanyCulture

  • What’s the secret to cultivating a culture of loyalty? Most of us know that fostering a strong company culture goes far beyond the allure of ping-pong tables and free snacks (though, let's be honest, who doesn't love a free snack?). It's about building a foundation of belonging, trust, and empowerment—and that all starts with giving your team the floor, to speak without fear of repercussion, about what they want and need. Which is exactly what we did at our recent company kick-off. So, here’s what’s making the difference in our culture, fresh off the press! → Setting the business up to accommodate work-life balance (in a way that works for people individually) was the biggest game-changer. The team has autonomy over their work, and the structure of their days and feel supported and valued, and we’ve seen a huge uptick in productivity and work satisfaction. → Benefits have to align with what people want AND what they’ll actually use. For us, that meant an increase in paid time off and personal development budgets. This enables the team to continue expanding their knowledge and pursuing their passions without the cost being a prohibiting factor and helps improve the business, as we have a more engaged team with a diverse skill set. → Balancing work and downtime. Fun should happen beyond the obligatory Christmas party—and there are so many engaging ways to do so. Team building days, company lunches, group courses, volunteering days, heck even rock climbing outings and pasta-making classes all help to facilitate your employees in getting to know each other better in a fun way. So what's the TLDR? Cultivating a culture of loyalty requires employers to instil trust, provide value, listen, learn and facilitate good old-fashioned FUN!

  • We had a delightful surprise outside our London HQ yesterday, courtesy of Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) As part of their Summer Showcase, the ALHI team is travelling across London, bringing delectable treats which brightened our day! After choosing from a selection of 7 ice cream flavours inspired by their esteemed luxury hotel members, we got to have a wonderful chat with the ALHI team while enjoying something sweet. What’s not to love?! What flavour would you pick? 🍦 #GetAScoopOfALHI

  • A great agenda can transform your event from mundane to unforgettable – here's how to craft one that captivates! → Organise the Flow: Ensure a balanced mix of sessions, workshops, and breaks that keep energy levels high and attendees engaged. → Craft Dynamic Sessions: Curate a lineup of speakers and topics that resonate with your audience. Include a mix of keynotes, panels, and interactive discussions to cater to diverse interests. → Hands-On Workshops: Offer workshops that provide practical, hands-on experience. These sessions should be interactive and relevant, allowing attendees to gain new skills and insights. → Networking Opportunities: Create ample opportunities for attendees to connect. Whether it's through structured networking sessions, casual meet-and-greets, or social events, fostering connections is key. → Engaging Activities: Incorporate engaging activities and icebreakers to keep the atmosphere lively and interactive. Gamification, polls, and Q&A sessions can add an extra layer of excitement. What do YOU think makes an awesome agenda? Let us know in the comments! #EventAgenda #EventPlanning #EventProfs

  • We’ve only just passed the halfway mark for 2024, and what a year it’s been so far! In the past 6 months we’ve produced incredible events for Google, HP, TikTok Shop, and Gong and won several awards, such as the Conference News Global Agency of the Year Award, Sustainability Pioneer 2024, and the The King's Awards for Enterprise in the International Trade Category. We’ve onboarded new staff, said fond farewells to others, and our VP of Growth, Josh King, celebrated 10 whole years with us! 🎉 That's not all, though! We’ve got more exciting announcements coming up soon, so keep your eyes peeled 👀 #EventsProfs #KingsAward #CompanyCulture https://lnkd.in/eK79wtXw

  • We're proud to announce that we've hit a new milestone with our sustainability Partners JUST ONE Tree, having planted 15,457 trees! Environmental stewardship is an integral part of our ethos here at emc3. We believe in protecting the planet and helping our clients achieve their sustainability goals, using events as a force for good! Just some of the ways we utilise our partnership with JUST One Tree are: → Carbon balancing all staff travel → Eco gifts for clients → Sustainable SWAG option → Our lasting legacy scheme (where we plant 1 tree for every attendee at our events) Here's what JUST One Tree had to say about our partnership: "emc3 haven't just planted 15,000 trees, the hectares of land they're restoring support local communities, improve livelihoods, address gender equality, create wildlife habitats, increase water security, protect coastlines and of course combat climate change. We wouldn't be able to have such a positive impact on both people and the planet without the support of EMC3 and the other companies who have joined with us to fight for our future." — Amanda Bronkhorst, founder of JUST One Tree. We look forward to the next milestone! #Sustainability #SustainableEvents #EventCommunity
