    ☕🥐 DEIB Breakfast Brainstorm Key Takeaways ✨🌟 Reflecting on our Breakfast Brainstorm on DEIB, hosted by Rory Mullins and Sarah-Emily Oades... ... there were several key takeaways that came to light. 💡 Sarah-Emily and Rory took us through their own experiences and steps they've taken as People and Talent leaders to drive positive change. 💪 As a group, we discussed how organisational readiness comes into play, how to build a TA road-map for shifting diversity that actually works, and the importance of cultural fluency. 🌍 Here is a snapshot 📷: 1. Assess and Strategize 🔍: Know where your organization stands on DEI. Develop a clear strategy with actionable goals, timelines, and accountability. Remember: set goals, not quotas. 2. I'm going to be a panellist at the London breakfast co-hosted by Career Moves Group and Manageable. We'll be discussing The Trust Paradox and how organisations can foster trust despite inadvertently - perhaps inevitably - eroding it at the same time. I will be joined by Farley Thomas, Jamie Thomas and Charles Wookey for what promises to be a timely and practical discussion for leaders across functions. I see the paradoxical nature of trust in organisations day to day and am very much looking forward to joining the panel to contribute to our collective trust-building toolkit.
