GarnettArchitecture have been appointed by commercial property specialist W.RE as Architect & Lead Design Consultant and BR PD on the fit out of third floor of the iconic Arding & Hobbs building in Clapham junction. The practice is working closely with workspace and hospitality operator x+why to transform the circa 27,500sqft floor of this landmark Listed Building into a vibrant hub for work, socialising and community. The design team includes Equals Consulting , Buro Happold, GDM and Garnett Design Management. Works are scheduled to commence on site later this month with completion expected early in Q2 2025.

Retrofit proposals for 50 Floral Street, Covent Garden, by GarnettArchitecture for Royal London Asset Management have been submitted to Westminster City Council. The circa 1,500sqm project, close to the Royal Opera House, involves comprehensive refurbishment of four office floors and remodel of the entrance hall within an Edwardian mixed use block. Proposals include a new street facade and terraces to the rear, sandblasted brick walls, stripped timber trusses and sanded down original timber floors. Works are expected to commence on site in Q4 2024. The project comprises a meticulous refurbishment of a distinguished Grade II Listed terraced house in Marylebone, in the heart of central London. Spanning an expansive 650 square meters and dating back to the 1860s, the property has been thoughtfully revitalised, with a keen focus on preserving its original period features. The six-story structure, complemented by a linked rear mews, has received a comprehensive makeover, encompassing the restoration of authentic elements that define its historical significance. Design proposals for 26 King Street, Covent Garden, prepared by GarnettArchitecture for Shaftesbury Capital PLC , have received Town Planning Consent from Westminster City Council. Situated within the Covent Garden Conservation Area, the Grade II listed building is being internally remodeled and restored along with construction of a new fourth floor with south facing rooftop terrace. ERGON HOUSE, the Greek boutique hotel brand, which features artisanal Mediterranean products and cuisine, will open in the circa 20,000sqft location in 2025. The hotel will offer 20 contemporary rooms, with access to a private gym, and spaces designed by local artists, paying homage to its Greek roots. A 2,220 sq ft rooftop restaurant is planned with an al fresco terrace and striking views of the London skyline. The scheme includes enhanced sustainability and feature lighting to accentuate the building’s historic façade. The project team includes Real PM , Hurst Peirce and Malcolm LLP, Atelier Ten , Stace , Scotch Partners and Gerald Eve.
