Genesis Energy Transition Consultant, Lucas Pires, has achieved Chartership with the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE). Lucas joined Genesis in 2013 as a Process Engineer in the Rio de Janeiro office, having been transferred from Technip Paris. Genesis' unique approach to projects in their early phases helped him broaden his technical knowledge in areas that he didn't know he would be interested in. Lucas had the opportunity to be seconded to Genesis London for six months in 2018, where he followed the ADEPT training program designed for Field Development Engineers. He believes that he works for a company that promotes employee mobility and diversity. Since July 2019, Lucas has been a permanent staff member at the London office as a Principal Development Engineer, providing valuable insights to clients and stakeholders, helping them make informed decisions about their energy projects. Every year we have pay tribute to Tim’s memory by awarding the best performing Engineer each calendar year the Tim Rattray award. 💓 This year’s winner is Emily Crowley. Genesis Senior Process Engineer Campbell Sunderland (CEng MiChemE) has achieved Chartership with the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE). Based in the London office, Campbell has been with Genesis for over 2 years. Campbell joined Genesis as a Process Engineer after spending 3 years at HRS Heat Exchangers as a Technical Design Engineer. Both Genesis and HRS have supported him throughout his journey to achieving chartership with the IChemE. This including working on a wide variety of projects in the energy, F&B, environmental and pharmaceutical industries to ensure he had the right breadth and depth of experience. During his time at Genesis, he was assisted by a dedicated mentor with his career development and the IChemE chartership application process.
