Celebrating our Southampton Residents’ incredible support for the British Heart Foundation. - - - We are incredibly proud of the residents at our Southampton location, Southampton Crossings for the amazing efforts led by our Property Manager Julian M. and his dedicated team. Together, they’ve raised an outstanding £12,660 for the British Heart Foundation (BHF), helping fund life-saving research that will make a real difference in the fight against heart disease. ❤️ From October 2023 to September 2024, our residents contributed a total of 844 bags of donations, which resulted in: - 70 bags collected from October 2023 – March 2024 - 774 bags donated during the main collection period (April – September 2024) Beyond the financial support from the donations, we’re also proud that 6.7 tons of items were kept out of landfill, demonstrating the positive environmental impact of these donations. 🌍💚 We want to extend a huge thank you to every resident who contributed and to Julian, Zoe and the team in Southampton for making this initiative such a success. Host. and Partners Group launch Habito Co-Living with Guildford Plaza. Located in the heart of Guildford, Guildford Plaza is spread over 11,000 sq m, across four buildings, delivering a high-quality housing solution to serve local demand and the wider London commuter belt. Of the 301 apartments, 67 will be offered to key workers at a 20% discount to market rent. The modern apartments on flexible, all-inclusive terms, with residents benefitting from numerous facilities and activities such as a gym, yoga studio, co-working spaces, and cinema rooms. The apartments are a 5-minute walk to Guildford Town Centre and Railway Station, with London just over 30 minutes by rail. Construction is well underway on Guildford Plaza, and Partners Group, Host and main contractor CField Construction recently marked significant progress towards completion with a topping out ceremony on site. Guildford Plaza will be the first co-living accommodation to be operated by Habito Co-Living, a new co-living brand that has been established by Host. to build on its extensive experience in the development and operation of high quality PBSA accommodation.
