Our initiatives and partnerships with leading experts in student wellbeing ensure that all students have access to valuable resources and support, and that we are fostering strong connections in the places that students call home. Our collaboration with Student Minds connects students with extensive resources covering essential wellbeing topics and services, while Shout UK provides 24/7 crisis text support for those who need it. iQ teams and our community of wellbeing ambassadors across our properties are trained to signpost students to the best support options available – and we encourage students to reach out to us whenever they need help. We welcome any conversations and initiatives that promote student wellbeing. On University Mental Health Day – and every day – we are delighted to see others in the industry stepping up their efforts to improve wellbeing. Here at iQ, our uniQue working group have been celebrating and recognising International Women's Day ahead of Saturday 8th March.    And we're thrilled to share that another two of our iQers have been recognised in the 2025 Women to Watch Index, brought together by WiHTL & Diversity in Retail in collaboration with The MBS Group.   Our very own Laura Dalgleish, Director of Marketing and Communications and Sarah Cowing, Head of Central Operations sat down with WiHTL to share how they made their way into the industry and how they are making an impact in their roles here at iQ.   You can read their full interview below. Today we were delighted to host our 3rd iQ Feel Good Summit at the Rich Mix arts venue in East London. We invited iQers and Feel Good Ambassadors from all of over the country to connect, learn and brainstorm all things wellbeing, with our partners on hand to share their expertise on Celebrating Individuality & Building Community.   The morning incorporated mindfulness, reflections on current resident wellbeing and a session on how to look after residents and ourselves (courtesy of our partner Student Minds). We were also reminded of the wellbeing support on offer for all iQers.   Thanks to our partners that came along to our Marketplace to complete the experience, including stalls from Student Minds and Shout UK, as well as the British Heart Foundation (sharing heart-friendly recipes), Hackney Herbal (teaching us to make our own herbal tea and essential oils), The Zen Project (providing a chillout zone), and not to mention our very own smoothie-making bike.   After lunch, it was all about hearing the experiences of experts, residents and iQers, with inclusivity and neurodivergence at the heart of the conversation. It was a wonderful way to get our Feel Good Ambassadors and site teams ready for our upcoming 6th annual Wellbeing Week. Last Thursday, we hosted our 8th annual #WOWAwards - an event that brings together individuals and teams from across the UK who have gone above and beyond in their everyday efforts to help deliver our residents their best year yet. Congratulations to all our finalists and runners up who we celebrated as we sailed down the River Thames. These iQers literally stopped traffic as Tower Bridge lifted just for them and their night of celebrations, creating an iconic experience for all in attendance. This year was our first year introducing our Experience Obsession category, recognizing teams that have gone above and beyond for their residents and live and breathe our Experience Obsession pillars in everything they do. In our efforts to champion social mobility and give back to students, no matter their background, we're proud to be hosting an insights day for year three of our award-winning social initiative, the #iQThriveAcademy. In the vibrant social spaces at iQ Signal Place in Nottingham, we welcomed an enthusiastic group made up of our iQ Thrive Academy associates, iQ mentors and our partners at upReach. With insights from each of these groups, a networking lunch and a real-life challenge for our associates to solve, the day's been a great opportunity for everyone - associates and iQers alike - to really talk about the things that matter when it comes to our careers. In the words of Matt Merrick “we want our business to be a catalyst for change" and this is just one part of that.
