How can agencies business plan for 2025 amidst economic and political uncertainty? Paul recently shared his insights with The Drum, tackling the challenge of forecasting in unpredictable times. "The only way to forecast is with the absolute understanding that whatever we forecast will be wrong. Yes, it would be lovely to have guaranteed numbers but that hasn't ever, nor ever will, happen. So, we are really looking for a direction of travel, where early budget conversations with clients, honesty about what we really think will happen in the business, topped up with a gut feeling about new business are invaluable. When we have had those discussions internally then we develop two plans: one hoping for the best, the other planning for the worst. With a bit of a following wind, we will hopefully be closer to the former than the latter!" Great to be part of the conversation, alongside: Annabel Engels, Darryl Newton, Marc Webbon, Louisa O'Connor, Marcus Orme, Rob Conibear, Alicia Iveson, Barney Worfolk Smith, Darryl Sparey (Chart.PR, FPRCA, FCIPR), Rachael Marshall, Adrienn Major, Tom Stone, Caroline Miller, Samuel Budd, Chris Wakefield & Scott Thaler. Our isobel kicks initiative went up a gear yesterday, with a day out at Chelsea Football Club. A female empowerment session from Alfie Butwell, followed by a tour of Stamford Bridge was a great experience for some of our team's players. Thank you so much Alfie and to everyone at Chelsea FC. ⚽ 🙏 #football #footballforall #girlsfootball #grassrootsfootball The Football Association Jamie Williams Paige Warnes

“As the saying goes, ‘A brand is not just made by the people who buy it, but also by the people who know about it’.” Jamie's been chatting with Marketing Beat about the delicate balance football clubs face: catering to fiercely loyal local fans versus chasing the spending power of global ‘plastic' fans. As marketers know, big brands can't grow by targeting the same people with the same messages. So, while Trump clings to his old playbook, scoring own goals with the voters he needs, Kamala Harris' "say-it-to-my-face-Donald"-style soundbites and endorsement of "Brat Summer" are connecting with younger audiences in ways Trump hasn't. Which brand will come out on top? Jamie's been discussing it all in detail with Campaign UK right here. https://lnkd.in/ezXpqp6M #brandstrategy #brand #politicalbranding #trump #bratsummer
