One of our favourite days of the year…when Autumn has arrived and it’s time to host our annual golf day, returning once again this year to The Cave Hotel who looked after us and our guests so exceptionally well! 😄🙌🏻 The emphasis for our day is always about fun over finesse and gives us the perfect opportunity to say thank you to all our valued clients, consultants and friends of Jenner who support us year-upon-year. This loyalty is invaluable and we are so grateful. 🙏🏻 Once again it was an incredible day, despite the great British weathers best endeavours to spoil the fun 🌧️ and witnessing our first EVER ‘Hole in One’ on our day was a massive highlight! D I D Y O U K N O W ? 🪓 Park Farm Joinery our in-house joinery department produces bespoke wood items to an exceptional quality, supplying all of our construction projects. 🔨🪵 As an example of the work they do we had a count-up of all the elements provided by PFJ in the delivery of 189 new homes at our Riverside development in Canterbury, on behalf of client Hyde Housing. 👏🏻✨ The overall project delivers 16 townhouses and 173 apartments to greatly boost affordable and shared ownership housing provision in the city centre, and the joinery stats are substantial: 1258no. Door Linings 589no. Hardwood Thresholds 523no. MDF Window Boards 16no. Our latest project for Ashford Borough Council is gaining lots of attention this week in the press as we officially broke ground in the presence of ward Councillors and local dignitaries, and celebrated the rebuilding of the bomb damaged properties in Willesbrough Ashford. The project is being delivered by Park Farm Construction as part of Jenner and will construct two three-bedroom homes and two two-bedroom homes on the cleared site where the previous homes stood. 🏠 Following the explosion back in 2021 three council owned properties and one privately owned home were badly damaged. The new homes will be built to a high standard with a focus on energy efficiency including solar panels on the roofs, along with measures to future proof the properties to allow for changing needs of more elderly or less able residents. This is a huge leap forward for Ashford and we are delighted to be part of this. ❤️ #construction #ashford #newhomes #building

S I E N N A  I N  C O N S T R U C T I O N ! Following a careers talk delivered by Jenner Head of Communications Ella Brocklebank to the students at Simon Langton Boys Grammar, Year 12 student Sienna Roger proactively sought our work experience having been inspired by the variety of careers available and intrigued as to why there are so few females within the industry. 👷♀️ Expressing an interest in property and development in the wider sense Ella recognised that Sienna would benefit most from gaining a holistic overview of the entire process that took her from initial concept and planning through the design process and into construction and project management. 🛠️🏗️ By engaging four other local companies through strong existing relations, Sienna gained invaluable insight that has subsequently help guide her future career path. Starting her week with Lee Evans Planning, then subsequently spending a day with architectural practice Clague before exploring the cost management of construction with Quantity Surveyors b&m she then spent a day in London at the Atkins Realis offices learning about project management. Spending each day in the company of incredibly strong, capable females thriving in their respective careers Sienna was enthused and educated at every stage and with those who worked with her openly volunteering "she was brilliant" and "I was really impressed with her attitude and inquisitiveness and I have no doubt she’ll be great in our industry in the future, if she chooses it for her career". Photography project for Jenner (Contractors) Ltd. 📷 Margate care home is a recently completed 66 bedroomed building set over two-storeys, situated close to QEQM hospital. It offers residential, dementia, nursing and respite care. There are beautiful communal gardens and carefully considered soft landscaping. The large windows maximise natural daylight, and the balconies offer beautiful views across the neighbouring field. There is a large car park, three charging points and bicycle storage. Park Farm Joinery manufactured the pergola which included galvanised bases and fixing bolts which was prefabricated in the joiners shop as a kit for site to install. As the land rises from the west to the east, the concrete framed building is set into the slope, so it appears as three storey from the west and two storey from the east. We are incredibly proud to have recently completed the construction of a new state-of-the-art Care Home in Bromley, on behalf of award-winning care provider Barchester Healthcare 🏠🔨 Designed by Harris Irwin architectural practice this amazing new facility is set to welcome 50 new residents all with individual en-suite bedrooms complemented with communal day spaces to encourage resident interaction, as well as a cinema and hair salon.
