    Kallure proudly supports the "100 Voices, 100 Words" campaign for World Afro Day® We want to give a big shout-out to the 100 incredible voices who are boldly speaking out against Afro-hair discrimination in the UK. What this campaign is doing is helping to drive meaningful change and create a future where everyone can embrace their natural beauty without fear of prejudice. On September 10th 2024, World Afro Day® Day published an Open Letter calling on the UK to become the first Western nation to introduce legislation that specifically protects against Afro-hair discrimination. They demand an update to the 2010 Equality Act to end this form of oppression. Research shows that 95% of people with Afro-hair want UK law updated to prohibit Afro-hair discrimination. This change is long overdue. At Kallure, we are committed to fostering inclusivity and equity, which is why we are happy to support this vital cause. This partnership has brought together two dynamic brands for a unique experience, and we are LOVING IT Known worldwide for its almighty ‘Bruce’ cake the Leeds-based bakery GET BAKED has graced Fortnum’s iconic Piccadilly store with a two-month residency at Fortnum's Piccadilly from 22nd August. Bringing their world-famous cakes, bakes and signature desserts to Fortnum. This Collaboration perfectly sets a new standard for creative culinary partnerships.     Monday was truly magical. Kallure had the immense pleasure of helping bring E.A.T.O.W. Global vision from Nigeria to the UK. The day-event united a community of beauty enthusiasts eager to elevate their businesses to the next level while exploring how tech can empower them to do so. E.A.T.O.W. Global is dedicated to empowering beauty professionals through education, immersive events, workshops, and soon, the launch of the EATOW membership. I felt elated, inspired, and incredibly proud of what we achieved for our client. Attendees left motivated, having built connections with like-minded inviduals and connect with thought leaders in the everychanging beauty industry. On the carefully curated, one-day immersive experience, designed to empower both established beauty powerhouses and emerging talents from Nigeria, Ghana, the US, and the UK. Hosted by the amazing duo Ony Danchimah and Afua Hagan (née Adom), it featured industry experts like Eryca Freemantle, Adeola Chizoba Adeyemi, Dabota Lawson, Meera Shah, Brenda Emmanus OBE, Oyinkansola Adebayo, Bolaji Olatoye and more. The masterclass provided attendees with revolutionary insights into leveraging digital products and AI technology to grow their businesses. It was a day of unparalleled networking, learning, and empowerment. The event was also in support of charity Black Women Rising UK founded by Leanne Pero MBE, who founded the organisation off the back of her incredible story to empower women of colour through every part of their cancer journey. This collaboration highlighted EATOW's commitment to social responsibility and why we do the work that we do at Kallure - sharing authentic stories. There is so much I could write but I want to say a big thank you to Samsung Electronics for supporting us and hosting this incredible event at their Samsung KX space in Kings Cross.
