Feastival Events and Lightning Fibre have relaunched the School’s Colouring Competition, with a specially wrapped Primary Node Cabinet in Eastbourne, using artwork by Olivia, who won the competition in 2023. Over 15,000 colouring sheets will be distributed to East Sussex schools and the 27 finalists will be invited to the Lightning Fibre Ice Rink Launch Party on Saturday 7th December, where one overall winner will be selected, and the winning child will cut the ribbon officially opening the 2024 Ice Rink at the Enterprise Shopping Centre. This successful partnership has raised £310,337 for local sports and physical activities, with more funding on the way. Lightning Fibre introduces new tariff in light of recent changes to winter fuel allowances. Lightning Fibre's new FullFibre50 package has been introduced specifically for people born before 23 September 1958 who can now access a £15 per month tariff fixed for two years.  Rob Reaks, Lightning Fibre's chief commercial officer commented, "Our social tariff has been available for some time, for households in receipt of means tested benefits, but this new tariff gives older people the opportunity to access affordable full fibre broadband even if they do not receive government support through benefits or pension credits. Initially, this is a limited trial but we hope to bring it back and roll it out in 2025." #fttp #fullfibre #digitalinclusion
