About us
KKA has a fresh approach, with a 70-year story. Our vision is for all buildings to be both creatively and commercially successful with the end user at their heart. We work side by side with our clients to co-create spaces that equally value quality design and return on investment, we are practical and commercial yet brave and creative. We’re a national studio with its heart in Liverpool. We like to bring energy and enthusiasm to every project with a considered and structured process, always providing a professional service, whilst treating clients like old friends. We love quality architecture and beautiful interiors and love to share them, but we also love practical solutions, innovative uses of space and clever, commercial design. The range and scale of work carried out by the practice is varied and extensive. We believe we have considerable and relevant expertise in handling complex building types and that our track record is second to none. KKA is an RIBA chartered practice and undertakes Architectural Services and Interior Design services on projects typically ranging in value from £1m to £100m KKAI our in house Interior Design department undertake independent appointments and work in support of our architectural team across a wide variety of sectors specialising in the hospitality and leisure sector.

The event celebrates a significant step in the delivery of the 402-studio block, which is due to complete next summertime ahead of the 2025/2026 academic intake. The project is being delivered in partnership with PPG Leeds Ltd - a joint venture between Primus Property Group and H.I.G. Capital – with other key members of the project team including Tim Groom Architects, Ridge and Partners LLP, Strive, KKA , Quartz Project Services, and Innov8: Development Solutions. 🗨️ Michael Sims, managing director at Clegg Construction, said: “We are very pleased to have reached this key stage in the development of The Fabric Works and to have held a topping out of the roof ceremony to mark the occasion. “The Fabric Works is a superb scheme which will provide attractive, much-needed accommodation for students in Leeds. Expanding their award-winning portfolio of co-living developments, Florence Dock is Folk's latest scheme, bringing extraordinary living to Battersea, London. Drawing inspiration from the Thames waterfront and the local surroundings, we collaborated closely with DTZ Investors, Halcyon, and Atypical Practice to develop and deliver the amenities furniture for the scheme, ensuring alignment with the building's natural aesthetic, crafted by KKA .
