A busy weekend for the team who were onsite at #TheBigHalf, supporting London Marathon Events installing branding and wayfinding across the route. We had teams at the start and finish, including at Tower Bridge and Greenwich Park, with branding also installed along the route at Canary Wharf, Rotherhithe and Wapping. Our wayfinding team installed totems at the start, with our production team also supporting the LME team at the start. Our temporary event staffing agency Event People were also involved, supporting with baggage teams spread across 3 locations. What do our charities think about the future of mass events? 🤔 As part of our insight gathering for the Massive Top 25 report, we asked charity teams across the sector what they predicted for mass participation events in the next 12 months. Over 70% told us they expect to see participant numbers grow next year.  While 59% anticipate an increase in fundraising value. Their answers reflect our optimism for the future, and we can’t wait to see what can be achieved in 2025. It’s here! The Massive Top 25 has landed. 🎉   The Top Massive 25 ranks the UK’s largest charity owned mass participation fundraising events from the last year. The report revealed that the largest 25 charity owned fundraising events collectively raised £132 million in 2023 - a 16% increase over the previous year. This growth was fuelled by the return of many major in-person events like Race for Life, Macmillan Coffee Morning, Movember and The Mighty Hike Series exceeding pre-pandemic participation levels. With inflation easing and disposable incomes forecasted to rise, the future outlook is promising. Over 70% of charities behind this year's Top 25 expect further participation growth in 2024, while 59% anticipate an increase in fundraising value.
