Every visit feels more meaningful than the last. 💙 ✅ Helped paint and refurbish a new build, making sure the schools have a fresh, welcoming feel. ✅ Delivered books, tables, chairs (all from the October shipping container) and even brought sports equipment for the schools – seeing the kids’ excitement was priceless! 🏫⚽ ✅ The Gambian Schools Trust focuses on supporting schools in some of the most isolated areas – up to 6 hours inland – ensuring no child is left behind. A highlight for me was the fundraising for Conteh Kunda Lower Basic School in 2024. Thanks to your incredible support, we raised nearly £15k! 🙌 This funded: ✨ A brand new standalone early learning classroom ✨ Tiled floors in the main school ✨ Major roof repairs (the before-and-after pics are incredible!) ✨ General tidy-up and a fresh coat of paint And it didn’t stop there – thanks to Mercia Asset Management PLC, I was able to hand out laptops and mobiles to students and individuals.
