Construction work has started on the development of 11 new energy-efficient homes in Bilston, Wolverhampton. Following appointment by City of Wolverhampton Council, we are set to deliver 11 EPC ‘A’ rated, gas-free homes with the addition of solar panels, supported by a £620,000 grant from Homes England. Located on Villiers Avenue, the project will see land reused to create a mix of two to three-bed detached and semi-detached - all of which will be available for affordable rent. As well as the sustainable technology featured within the homes, the use of timber frames will further reduce the carbon footprint of the development as well as positively impacting resident's fuel bills. Work will involve clearing the dilapidated former Bilston tennis club, with £40,000 allocated by the council to improve tennis courts at East Park to mitigate the loss. We are one of the region’s leading partnerships developers. #BetterTomorrowMakers
About us
Created on the solid foundations of our new purpose to be better tomorrow makers, we are proactive in driving regeneration across the Midlands region, introducing new technologies to build efficient, high-quality developments that are sustainable, accessible, modern and affordable. We identify and secure predominantly brownfield sites and transform them into communities where families can thrive. All properties are built with the highest quality materials, with most of our schemes completed with a timber frame construction, and we operate an effective recycling and segregation system on all our developments to minimise the impact we have on the environment. As better tomorrow makers, and proud Investors in People Gold, we push the boundaries of how people live, work and play to unlock a whole new world of possibilities. A world where quality and affordability, along with sustainability and accessibility can all live in harmony.

We welcomed 22 students interested in construction to our Tyldesley Court site in Burton upon Trent recently, where we're transforming vacant land into 72 over-55s apartments and 10 family homes, in partnership with Trent & Dove. With support from Burton and South Derbyshire College, students explored different development stages, construction methods, and emerging technologies while gaining insight into industry careers and progression routes. Huge thank you to Project Manager Nicholas Kleanthous (ICIOB) for showing the students around the Tyldesley Court development and giving them a great insight into the construction industry. Designed for both privacy and community, the scheme will provide safe, modern, and sustainable housing. Once a brewery and later the Bargates shopping centre, the site had remained vacant until secured funding from Homes England and partnered with Orbit Group to bring it back to life. Completion is set for this year. #BurtonuponTrent #Bargates #Regeneration #SustainableDeveloper

Repurposing materials to enhance spaces at Chapter House, Lightmoor School, ABC Nursery, and a local youth club. A variety of items from one of our former show homes in Telford have been donated to the charities and not-for-profit organisations, helping to create more comfortable and welcoming environments for the people they support. Our donations included tables, chairs, mirrors, blinds, light fittings, desks, pictures, a sofa, rugs, and much more! As part of Morro’s commitment to being better community makers, we’re delighted that these pieces will have a new lease of life, benefiting so many fantastic organisations. #ReusingMaterials #DonatingMaterials #Sustainability #Repurposing #NonForProfitOrganisations #Community

Making a difference this #WorldBookDay! Last week, we reached out to Ryders Green Primary School in Sandwell, near our Swan Lane development, to ask if they required any books for their school. They told us that they are currently setting up a Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) provision and were in need of new books for the facility. They shared a list of their requirements, and we were more than happy to help - picture below shows all of their brand new books that we delivered today! 📚 World Book Day is all about changing lives through a love of books and reading, with a mission to offer every child and young person the chance to choose and have a book of their own. With reading at an all-time low, with only 1 in 3 children now saying they enjoy reading, the charity is on a mission to encourage children to see reading as a entertaining, social and fun thing to do! The charity is working with a number of retailers to provide a FREE book - simply download the £1 token and spend in a participating retailer (details can be found on their website). £1 token can be downloaded here: 👉 https://lnkd.in/evhaDYUB #WorldBookDay2025 #SENDProvision #SpecialEducationalNeedsandDisability

On Wednesday 19th March, Tom Goldsworthy, Simon Preston, Matthew Willett, Suki Deol, Giovanni Corbo, Louise Tubey & Helen Cashmore (aka the Morro Slumber Squad) are giving up their beds for the night to support homeless people by sleeping out on the concrete in King Power Stadium, home of Leicester City Football Club. All funds support YMCA Leicestershire, which provides 104 beds each night to young people who have no safe place to call home. A young person who has suffered trauma, family breakdown or abuse will take many little steps before they are ready to leave with confidence to set up a home of their own. YMCA also help street homeless adults providing breakfast, food parcels and one to one advice to address issues of homelessness and find a place to live. We are on a mission to raise £1,000 for YMCA Leicestershire and would love your support!
