Last week, Native Land was thrilled to join 11K | China-Specialist Communications Consultancy’s Chinese New Year Reception. Held in partnership with Raffles London at The OWO, the event celebrated 11K’s 10th anniversary and a decade of excellence and impact in bridging UK and overseas companies with the Chinese high-net-worth-individual (HNWI) and investor markets. Native Land is proud to have worked with 11K Consulting over the past year, across our consumer PR and Chinese social media platforms. The team’s drive and passion for what they do really shines through. We loved the Chinese and Western musical performances, a captivating traditional lion dance, and sumptuous food and drinks. It was great to network with over 100 distinguished senior business leaders, HNWIs, influencers and media across different sectors in the room. Our congratulations to 11K Consulting on this milestone anniversary. We look forward to working with you and following your continued growth in the years to come. #lunarnewyear #London

Native Land CEO, Alasdair Nicholls, spoke with AUGUSTMAN on luxury property trends, why Singaporean investors should invest in the London property market and what occupiers want when it comes to sustainable, energy-efficient real estate. Here are the key takeaways: ● In the past year, we have seen more geographic diversity in our buyers than ever. Native Land has sold properties to investors from 23 countries. South-east Asian buyers have shown an affinity for London property for many reasons, including the city’s diverse culture, its resilient property market, as well as the education system. ● The next generation of luxury property owners are prioritising sustainability more than ever. They are also willing to pay a premium for homes that offer well-being amenities and services. Bankside Yards, offers a world-class mix of prime riverside residential spaces, which will offer residents brand-new cultural and wellness-focused spaces as well as access to a padel court, golf simulator, hydro pool, bouldering wall, and more. ● When it comes to sustainability, Opus and the wider Bankside Yards development will be 100 per cent electric from renewable sources and part of an unprecedented fifth-generation energy-sharing network. This will reduce energy usage and enable the site to operate at a net zero carbon level. Read more via the Native Journal: https://lnkd.in/e5j4aEw2 #london #development #property #sustainability

  • What’s on the cards for 2025? A year of stability, supply and sustainability says Native Land Executive Director Nicholas Gray, as he writes for PrimeResi Journal about London’s prime property market in the year to come. Here are the key takeaways: ● Election Impact: Since the US election, Americans have looked to London as a place to invest in real estate. At 100 George Street W1, there was a high proportion of interest in the Marylebone apartments from American buyers before the election, with 20% of transactions coming from US buyers. “Within just 24 hours of the election results were announced, we had three new seriously interested American buyers.” Nicholas shares. ● 80% of millennial UHNWIs are trying to shrink their carbon footprints*: Luxury property owners are prioritising sustainability more than ever, with up to 18% would pay a premium for green rated buildings (*According to Knight Frank research). Nicholas highlights, “They are looking for environmentally conscious and efficient homes that reflect their more healthy and responsible lifestyles", qualities which will be reflected in Opus, Bankside Yards. ● At Opus, there will be areas dedicated “to amenities that meet buyers’ evolving lifestyle choices, including co-working and study spaces, podcast and art studios, a padel court, bouldering wall and spa.” Read more via the Native Journal: https://lnkd.in/ehWR-2q2 #primeproperty #realestate #londondevelopment #USelection

  • What buyers want: Opus, the first residential tower in our riverside development, Bankside Yards, has been selected as The London Magazine - luxury lifestyle, prime property’s ‘Most Wanted in 2025’, as Zoe Dare Hall discusses London’s property landscape in the coming year. Within the regeneration of London’s property landscape, the development at Bankside Yards represents a ‘pivotal moment in London’s evolution – not only as the UK’s first major fossil fuel-free, mixed-use estate but as the final piece in the South Bank’s cultural jigsaw’, Emma Fletcher-Brewer at Knight Frank shares. Opus will be launching this spring. The London Magazine offers the authority on prime London property and the world’s most enviable homes. • “Bankside Yards is meeting the growing demand from both residential buyers and commercial occupiers to live and work in a more responsible, health-conscious, and sustainable way.” Nicholas Gray, Executive Director at Native Land, recently sat down with LUX Magazine to discuss our pioneering 5.5-acre sustainable riverside development, Bankside Yards. Discussing the ‘future-focused regeneration project’, which includes the tallest residential building in prime central London, Opus, best-in-class workspace and a new 5* Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Nicholas highlighted how the scale of the project reflects Bankside Yards’ strategic location in a global gateway city. What will Bankside Yards offer to Southwark? ⦿ Over 50% of the development is allocated to the public realm: The previously closed site will provide a new lifestyle offering for the South Bank, as well as cultural spaces. ⦿ Deliver hundreds of new homes, which will enjoy the benefits of a pioneering energy-sharing network – the first of its scale in the UK. ⦿ The ‘greened’ public realm includes planting 150 new trees of 20 different species and creating biodiverse roofs on six of the development’s eight buildings. This will support the mayor’s commitment to a 10% increase in London’s tree canopy cover by 2050. Opus will be launching in Spring 2025.
