Hwb-Y-Gors: Where Creativity, Education, Business, and Sustainability Thrive! 🌟💚🌱🌞   We’re thrilled to share the incredible transformation of the former Cwmgors Primary School into ‘hwb-y-gors’, a low-carbon community hub!   AWEL AMAN TAWE has repurposed this cherished building, dating back to 1912, into a vibrant space for arts, education, and enterprise. This transformation was made possible thanks to funding from various sources, including the UK Shared Prosperity Fund administered by our Sustainable Community Growth Fund, Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Events Fund, Valleys and Villages Prosperity Fund, and Third Sector Fund.   From installing solar panels and a ground source heating system to creating a community food garden and a repair café, Hwb y Gors is a shining example of sustainable community growth. This project not only preserves the heritage of the building but also integrates cutting-edge green technology, making it a beacon of hope for future generations.   A huge well done to Awel Aman Tawe for creating such an incredible community space. Aeth cynrychiolwyr o weinidogaethau, sefydliadau a phrifysgolion Kazakhstan ar daith dywys o amgylch Canolfan Dechnoleg Bae Castell-nedd Port Talbot, y Ganolfan Hydrogen a’r Ganolfan Ymchwil Gweithgynhyrchu Peilot ym Maglan i ddysgu mwy am ein profiad gyda thechnolegau ynni adnewyddadwy a’u gweithredu. 

Kazakhstan's Industrial Decarbonisation UK Study Tour On Thursday 6th March, Neath Port Talbot Council hosted visitors from Kazakhstan during their industrial #decarbonisation study tour, exploring cutting-edge policies, technologies, and best practices in industrial decarbonisation.
