It was great to attend the Northern Ireland Local Government Association awards last night with one of our Parks and Cemeteries team, Steven Andrew’s, who was a finalist in Employee of The Year category. We attended alongside our Ards and North Down Borough Council colleagues in Waste and Cleansing who were finalists for an award in Service Innovation & Improvement. The awards were a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the success of Local Government staff for all of their hard work and dedication to delivering for their communities! #ANDParks #NILGAAwards2025

Last night we were Out Out! I'm so proud to be part of the Food Heartland team at ABC Council - every day, but especially last night. To be shortlisted for the Best Outcome of the Past Decade Award at the NILGA Awards 2025 was lovely - but to win against tough competition was just class!
