Great to see #StrandAldwych make the cover of Pro Landscaper's first #PublicSpaces special with a fantastic photo by @glasshopper_x for millimetre. Lots in this feature about how this #welcoming new city space in #Westminster came about, as well as design details including the incredible new sculptural seating, which took a year to make and went in earlier this year, designed by LDA Design and fabricated by the wonderful millimetre. #StrandAldwych is the work of many and this gives us another opportunity to celebrate the collective effort and the ambition of a team that went for the boldest option and pulled it off. We are pleased to share the completion of the Maidstone Road Public Space Improvements, a £350k project part of the Greening Bowes initiative in Enfield. This project brings safer, more enjoyable walking routes, boosts community health, and adds green spaces, aligning with the Mayor’s Transport Strategy and the Enfield Council’s long-term vision. Highlights: • 175m² of new footways for better pedestrian safety. • A new green space for the community to enjoy. • 363m² of rain gardens helping manage storm water and reduce flooding. It was great working with PJA on this project. #NRP #NRPeople #Activetravel #ConstructionUK #GreenInfrastructure
