Ofgem Energy Redress Scheme launches new fund with £5 million available to support community renewable energy projects. Graham Ayling, senior project manager at Energy Saving Trust, said: “We’re pleased to announce this new fund, which will enable greater community ownership and social benefit from the historic growth in renewable energy over the next few years as the UK transitions to net zero.” The Just Transition Fund will award grants between £20,000 and £250,000 to individual projects. The deadline for applications to the first round is 5pm on 19 November 2024. https://lnkd.in/e-VdNYEa
