🎉 Celebrating apprenticeship week 2025! 🎉 We want to highlight our resident, Rafael, who is thriving in his work with Careys, partner of the Hill Group UK. Rafael came over to the UK from Colombia when he was 15 years old and managed to learn English, take his GCSEs and complete a BTEC Level 3 in Civil Engineering before going to university.  He spotted the opportunities we were promoting in our newsletter and got in touch with our social and economic investment manager Soifur Rahman who helped him apply. On his career journey Rafael said: “If I could go back in time, I would definitely choose the apprenticeship route again. 🏆 We have a winner! 🏆 We're delighted that dedicated community leader Hawa Abdi was recognised at The G15 Community Impact Awards this week. G15 members representing London’s largest housing associations submitted nominations for the most inspiring and impactful community-led projects of 2024.  We’ve been funding Hawa’s work at the Center of Excellence since 2023, coming together on projects and events that benefit the community.
