Seeing as today is #BlueMonday, we wanted to take a look back at the wonderful project Orpington Hospital undertook to improve staff facilities to help with staff wellbeing. The Trust understood that providing their staff a dedicated place to rest would help with their wellbeing leading to improved retention and recruitment rates. MP Gareth Bacon, who opened the facility, said, “We know how important facilities like this are, and I am very pleased that we have been able to create such a fantastic space. On 15th & 16th January we will be having our annual team event where we'll be bringing together Team Ocura under one roof. Hosted at our fantastic new Kent location, we're excited to discuss our ambitions and plans for the year ahead. Last week we delivered these fantastic yellow Odessa Beam seats to Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. Having been without seating for a while, this impressive waiting room was crying out for a suitable solution. Build quality, longevity, variety of configuration and equality for patients were the requirements given to Ocura. There was only one solution... Odessa to the rescue! Our Odessa beam seats offer multiple configurations whilst incorporating bariatric seats to cater for all. Yellow was chosen to match the signage around the hospital, helping partially sighted patients. We think they look fantastic in the space!
