As part of Prime’s commitment to improving our local area, each year we fund community projects across Worcestershire through the Prime Foundation. By donating funds to our registered charity, we take the extra step of re-investing a portion of our profits into initiatives which enhance quality of life at a local level. The Freedom Day Centre in South Littleton, near Evesham, supports adults with learning disabilities through a range of educational, therapeutic, and social activities that help build skills and independence. Thanks to a grant from the Foundation last year, the centre’s patron-run social enterprise, Giftwood, now have equipment to support making and selling their woodworking projects, gaining valuable work experience and confidence. ❤️ We’re proud to contribute to community projects like Giftwood through the Prime Foundation. Prime’s Charity Events Team has revealed who it will be raising funds for in 2025. 💝 After a round of staff nominations, the four chosen charities are Myeloma UK, Place2Be, Blood Bikes Wales and Endometriosis UK. We have some fantastic fundraising events planned this year, which kick off in March with a ‘wear it pink/orange’ theme, cake sale and sweepstake for Myeloma UK. 🍊🦩 This is followed by a ‘dare to wear’ day incorporating a darts competition for Place2Be in May. 🎯 Next up at the end of July is our ‘Tour de Prime’ sponsored static cycling relay for Blood Bikes Wales – distance TBA! 🚲 Finally, there will be a true and false trivia quiz to raise money for Endometrisosis UK in September. ❓✅ Watch this space for pictures from all these exciting fundraisers! #charity #events #fundraising

Last year, we partnered with Forward Thinking Birmingham and Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust on a project that will have a lasting impact on mental health services in Birmingham. When the Blakesley Centre was identified as no longer meeting the needs of young people with mental health challenges, a decision was made to relocate care to the Washwood Heath Health and Wellbeing Centre. Our Birmingham and Solihull LIFT (BaS LIFT) partnership was commissioned to reconfigure the first floor to create a modern, supportive environment for mental health care. This project demonstrates the power of partnership and design in creating a healthcare space that truly supports the community. 🔨 Progress at Adanac Health and Innovation Campus 🔨 It’s time for the first construction update of 2025, on site at the Sterile Services Department and Aseptic Pharmacy for University Hospital Southampton NHS FT. Willmott Dixon continues to make great progress with key activities on-site, including cladding installation, aseptic pharmacy clean room finishes and core building elements. Key updates: - The first non-gassing and gassing isolators have arrived on-site, marking a significant milestone. - Rear yard concrete works are now complete, and external works are progressing to form the front car park. - The mains electricity connection was made in December and commissioning and testing has begun. Highlighting one of our key healthcare developments in Staffordshire – the Biddulph Primary Care Centre. This state-of-the-art facility brings essential healthcare services directly to the community. Delivered through Prime’s Staffordshire LIFT partnership, Prima 200, the four-storey building houses a wide range of primary and community care services, including speech and language therapy, midwifery and podiatry. It also provides a hub for community nurses. Designed in close collaboration with patients, staff and local residents, the centre’s modern architecture reflects the town’s unique heritage, marking a significant milestone in the area's regeneration.
