The results are in! The removal of employer National Insurance contribution (NIC) relief could have long-term detrimental effects on workers’ #pension savings, say REBA’s members. Nearly half of organisations that pay workers more than the minimum employer pension contribution will consider reducing these if the Chancellor introduces NICs on employer pension payments in this month's Budget. Research carried out earlier this month, in partnership with the Association of British Insurers, highlights that removing this relief would change employers’ behaviours to be less generous in future, to the detriment of millions of workers: https://lnkd.in/eEbznJgw REBA members can download the full findings here: https://lnkd.in/eDZuN-A2 Thank you to all those who took part in this important survey. The results will be shared with HM Treasury. Yvonne Braun OBE Debi O'Donovan Rt Hon Rachel Reeves Emma Reynolds #nationalinsurance #pensionsavings #employeebenefits #Budget2024
