Sands Lights of Love services, and other winter remembrance events, are happening across the country this winter 🕯️ These free services are run locally by volunteers and supporters, and often take place with readings, music, and candle lighting. We have had an incredible afternoon speaking with MPs and Lords in Parliament alongside Tommy's and our Joint Policy Unit. Together, we pushed for pregnancy and baby loss to be a political priority. Thank you so much to everyone who invited their MP to attend. Over 50 parliamentarians visited us to meet with bereaved parents and find out how we can work together to #EndInequalityInBabyLoss and save babies’ lives. A part of you wants to be curled up in bed at home and the other part of you wants to be with your friends and family – just like the old times. Do what feels right for you this Diwali. Don’t let the guilt of feeling some joy take over. Equally, listen to yourself if you prefer to rest and find a quiet space. Allow yourself to say “no” but don’t be afraid to say “yes” either.
