⚽ 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐫𝐞𝐱𝐡𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐅𝐂: http://savi.li/6047Ud4Xz Savills has been working with Wrexham AFC for several years to re-instate the four-sided stadium with a future-proofed 5,500 capacity Kop Stand which reinforces the Club’s atmospheric home and elevates it as an iconic destination for fans, international visitors and the local community. Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds bought the North Wales Club in February 2021 and since then have overseen back-to-back promotions. A revised vision and ambition to future proof the Stadium led to the appointment of leading architects, Populous, to develop a unique and contemporary design rooted in Wrexham’s history. Chris Potts, director, Savills, stated: “We secured permission for the new Kop Stand two years ago when the Club was in the National League. We are delighted to submit the fantastic new designs by Populous, which create a landmark building in the City, and represents the first phase of the emerging Wrexham Gateway regeneration initiative.”

The demands on farmland are more complex than before driven by climate change, environmental priorities and population growth – all of which necessitates a balance of needs from land. The Labour Government has proposed that a Land Use Framework would allow us to make the best use of land to: 🟨 “boost food production” - to maintain long term food security and protect the highest quality of agricultural land. 🟨 Build 1.5million homes. 🟨 Execute the Clean Power 2030 Action Plan. 🟨 Protect and restore nature through the targets set in the Environment Act 2021. Kelly Hewson-Fisher explores further in the latest blog post from Savills Rural: http://savi.li/6047UjSKb
