    2024 was a great year for investment transactions in south Wales ! Highlights Savills Cardiff /Wales investment include the acquisition of the former Ford Engine plant in Bridgend comprising of 150 acres for a Data Centre operator !! Sale of Knox court Office building in Cardiff city Centre for change of use to Cardiff's first co-living scheme ! And a range of other investment transactions across both the industrial and office sectors, a number of these highlighted in the attached. 2025 will be an interesting year and all of the above show the market is still alive with deals across all sectors and asset classes still desirable !     𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Acquisition of 50% Stake in €840m Logistics Platform 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐬 (SCA) and Savills 𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐀 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 teams in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands and Denmark have advised AustralianSuper, Australia’s largest pension fund, on the acquisition of a 50% interest in an €840m logistics platform owned by Oxford Properties Group. The platform consists of a European portfolio of 76 urban logistics and distribution assets located in Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and the UK. The portfolio covers a combined area of 730,000 sq m (7.9m sq ft).
