On World Suicide Prevention Day, it's important to recognize that the event industry can be isolating. Long hours, time away from loved ones, and the stress of the job can take a toll on mental health. Let’s make it a priority to support one another and stay aware of the warning signs of someone struggling, like withdrawal, hopelessness, or talking about self-harm. If you notice a colleague, friend, or loved one exhibiting these signs, encourage them to talk, and reach out for support. Together, we can create a more connected and supportive industry. 🚨 999 Day: Honouring Our Heroes 🚨 Today, we proudly support the incredible heroes of the NHS and Emergency Services, especially those who work closely with us to keep everyone safe at the events we manage. Did you know that nearly 2 MILLION dedicated individuals work and volunteer across the NHS and emergency services? Many of them are volunteers, playing a crucial role in ensuring these services run effectively. We’re grateful for the dedication of all six branches of the emergency services: Police, Fire and Rescue, Ambulance, NHS, Maritime (Coastguard and Lifeboats), and Search and Rescue (Mountain, Lowland, Mine, and Cave).
