Today, alongside System1, Tracksuit and ...Gasp! TMM is launching The Chutes. A project I hope will help celebrate marketing work that works and benefit a bunch of folks in our industry. Here's what The Chutes is: - It's a collaboration to celebrate effective marketing work. Surfacing examples found from combining System1 and Tracksuit's databases - where we'll then share with you how the teams produced the good, effective work. Some things it is and isn't: - It's not another award that celebrates creativity in a silo. - In fact, it's not really an award at all (although we do have trophies). It's a celebration of marketing work that works, highlighting examples of effective marketing that drove results. - You can't pay us money to enter. - 'Winners' are selected through combining System1 and Tracksuit's database to highlight work that drove results. Both from a predictive and retrospective view. - The 'winners' don't just say thank you and disappear off a stage. - They will share how they produced their work through 'The Chutes Podcast', giving behind-the-scenes information on their effective campaigns. - We won't just be celebrating large companies with mega-budget campaigns - We will select case studies from smaller brands and brands in categories that will rarely get highlighted. - We won't just celebrate the large agency groups - Where possible, we want to celebrate independent agencies and surface the relationship between client and agency by interviewing them both at the same time - There is no exclusive black-tie dinner - But the content will be distributed for free, to help move the industry forward The Chutes will release a new celebration each month. The first one is now live - search for 'The Chutes Podcast' on Spotify (and soon-to-be other podcast players), and let us know what you think. We hope you find it useful ✌️✌️ P.S. Why 'The Chutes'?
