What does National Apprenticeship Week look like at Thatchers? 👷🏼♀️ Well, a lot like any other. That’s because year-round our apprentices are at the core of our business. They work across the company in roles from Production to IT, Marketing, Hospitality, Orcharding and Chef-ing. They bring new ideas, great energy and an enthusiasm to learn. In exchange, they get paid, hands-on experience and support to progress. We’re incredibly proud that around 20% of our workforce either are, or have been, a Thatchers apprentice. And we are very excited to be opening applications for our next cohort of apprentices, starting with an open day for 180 prospective applicants this weekend. 🗞️ We've been catching up on the news that Ocado Retail have seen a major increase in sales of no and low alcohol products over the past 12 months - and that sales are consistent throughout the year. 💙The research was conducted by Savanta alongside Ocado – and we are pretty excited to see Thatchers Zero top the chart as their fastest growing low and no drink, up a whopping 90% on last year! 0️⃣ Ocado say their extensive range of low and no products has played a part in this increase, demonstrating what can be achieved when this category is given serious consideration. 🍻They also say people are clearly looking for a low/no version of their favourite drink.
