We've all walked past someone sleeping rough. Often, it's because we don't know how to help them. Saying hi can be a great start. it helps people feel seen and respected by people in their community. Due to today's hot weather, we stayed open later to provide a cool space for people sleeping rough We also went out on more outreach shifts to find people in need of support These extra services will be running for most of this week. Last week, the incredible Errol McGlashan performed his show 'Something to Take the Edge off' at our day centre It was a powerful experience that many people in the room could relate to covering mental health, addiction, and more. His performance was also a fantastic reminder of the importance of expression and creativity when recovering from rough sleeping We look forward to welcoming him back soon 💙
